Music is said to soothe even the most savage beast. Such an assertion, while primitive in nature, surely didn't anticipate the future of musicology-that is the science, and theory of modern music. Had they know what was in the future, as far as music composition, digital audio technology, and audio sweetening are concerned, they wouldn't have seen anything soothing about the subject. Twisted and tangled inside of modern technology, are the fundamental theories and ideas about composition, and technique-and it is the goal of myself (MidiMacMan) to sort it all out, and to share with you my discoveries and creations.
