Uses: Carbonate in iron and steel induction of moisture toxic. Of barium salts optical glass paints ceramic. Enamel oil paints rubber. Pigment welding rod fireworks used in electronic industry as purifying agent of water and pesticide rat, etc.

4. Thiourea
Molecular formula: (NH2) 2CS
Molecular weight: 76.12
Property: white rhombic or needle bright crystal. It is bitter and inflammable. Specific gravity is 1.046; melting point is 170-182 , decomposed when being further heated. It will be sublimated when decompressed at 150-160 . It is soluble in cold water, ammonia thiocyanate solvent and alcohol, hardly soluble in diethyl ether.
Uses: pharmaceutical raw material, bleaching agent in textile dyeing and printing, auxiliary of dyeing and anti-oxidant. It can be used as rubber accelerator, floating agent, photo developing agent, peroxide thiourea, cold wave, etc. It is also used in resin compression molding powder, electroplating blueprinting and boiler washing.

5. Thiourea Dioxide

Property: Odorless white powder. It is a kind of stable chemical compound with no ox disability and reducing property. Its solubility in water is 26.7g/l(at 20 ).The PH value of aslurated solution is 5.0, and it is very stable in solution while temperature is between 20-30 .It will decompose and form sulfurous acid under the action of alkali and heating.
Usage: Mainly used in dyeing industry to substitute for sodium hydrosulfite and used in synthetic fiber industry and organic synthesis industry, also used as additives of polyreation, staibhzer of polythene and photographic sensitizer, etc. It has the following advantage: It is safe when storing and transporting, the reduction potential is high, and it is specially suitable for continuous dyeing and bleaching with high temperature.
